Race Marshals Victoria is always happy to welcome new members. They are eager to introduce newcomers to our passion and are only too happy to pass on our knowledge and experience to anyone who loves bikes and racing. Once you catch the bug, there are opportunities to work your way up to the top level of officialdom in Australian racing. Who knows? You may end up in the tower at Phillip Island during MotoGP...
If you're interested in seeing how it all works on the other side of the fence, why not come along to a race meeting and try it out trackside? See the Race Marshals Victoria Calendar for what's coming up and give our registrar a call, or email, to get the ball rolling. Apart from being normally active, the only other thing you need is to be at least 16 years old to come along and get closer to the action than you've ever been before. You won't meet Fred the mascot, but you may end up impersonating him!
Visit http://www.racemarshalsvictoria.org.au today to find out how you can become a Race Marshal.

At the committee meeting last night (10th Aug 2010) it was decided to not refund any entry fees for club round 4 at Phillip Island as a result of its abandonment due to Matt McMillan's death nor is it possible to reschedule to another date at the Phillip Island race track due to no available dates. If any hardship is caused by this decision to competitors from club round 4 please discuss with the committee.
The committee has also asked for a Discussion [click here] to be started on the website and on Saturday evening at club Round 5 regarding the format, schedule, track time etc of next years club rounds.
Regards,
Hartwell MCC committee. {jcomments off}
