IDM German CHAMPIONSHIP Lausitz WEEKEND.
Round 1 of the championship that the team is aiming to do well in was exciting for all. We had tested at Lausitz but in incredibly cold conditions unfortunately for us our settings were far from where we needed to be. Friday practise was interesting with all the teams out on track putting in fast laps yet no one was letting out any information on lap times. We felt ok at the end of practise, still chasing a set up that would help the bike steer and drive off the turns was our main issue. Going into Saturday we were around 2 seconds off the fastest rider.

Racing legend dies in SA

SOUTH Australian motorcycle racing legend Greg Pretty has been killed in a head-on crash with another rider, who also died in the horrific Hills collision.

"He was a top guy, a fierce competitor and true friend to many people," he said.

The champion rider and former SA Sports Star of the Year, and the other man, were pronounced dead at the scene of the collision on the Macclesfield to Echunga road, near Macclesfield.

Pretty's mate of 30 years and former racing competitor Rick Dowsett said the motorcycle community was in shock over the tragic loss.
