Nathan [84] and Tyson [86] racing at Winton
The 600 Novice class this year is shaping up to be a family affair with brothers Tyson [86] and Nathan Jones [84] leading the championship.  They are both riding Honda CBR 600's, it appears that there motocross background is helping them in the Novice class. Tyson went into this round with a 4 point advantage over Nathan. After the Qualifing session on Saturday morning in the wet Nathan qualifyied .272 seconds ahead of his brother Tyson who was over a second ahead of Kale Henderson.  Nathan took out the first race ahead of Tyson by just .948 with Ben Meade a very close 3rd position.  The second race saw the result switched around with Tyson winning by 5.482 seconds over Nathan, Ben Meade finished 10 seconds behind in 3rd place.  Race 3 saw a repeat of race 2 with Tyson winning ahead of Nathan and Ben Meade.

The committee has discussed the possibility of changing the current club logo, they feel it's outdated and due for some modernisation. So if there is any members that would like to submit designs for the new logo we would be very grateful, the winning design will receive free membership for 2011.

Send all your submissions in jpeg format to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , please be aware that the logo will be required in a vector format after it has been accepted by the committee.  The plan for submissions is prior to the Annual General Meeting.

TimingTransmitterDear Members,

Please be advised that from Round 3, there will be an extra charge for those that run more than one bike as each bike needs to have it's own transmitter.  The fee will be $15 per extra bike.Unfortunately we cannot rely upon riders transferring their transmitters from bike to bike as history has shown that this is not effective.  It will not affect you if you have one bike that run in more than one class.
