At the recent Hartwell Committee meeting is was decided to again accept late entries. However in doing so, it comes with a risk to the rider. The rider entering late will incurr a late fee of $50 on top of the entry fee and will also have to accept that they may not be able to participate on arrival if we have no spare transmitters. The problem we face is that transmitters generally have to be ordered in advance. We do the count at the close of business on the date entries have to be in by and order the correct amount plus some spares, each transmitter has to be paid for regardless of whether we use it or not. It is not an option to run without a transmitter. You cannot order one of the spare transmitters, it will be a first in first served basis. The best option is to get your entries in on time.
